House of Ignis is a book marketing agency. This policy covers the information we collect through hoignis.com, our free tools (Book Audit, Positioning Report, Launch Checklist), our booking flow, and any services we deliver to clients directly.

Depending on how you interact with the site, we collect:

• Name and email address, when you submit a form or book a call
• Book details — title, genre, listing links — submitted through the Audit or Positioning Report
• Campaign details, for clients, needed to deliver the services you’ve booked
• Technical data collected automatically — IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited — via our analytics provider

We use the information above to:

• Respond to Audit, Positioning Report, and Checklist requests
• Schedule and conduct strategy calls
• Deliver services to clients we’re actively working with
• Send updates you’ve opted into (such as your requested audit or report)
• Understand site usage in aggregate, so we can improve it

We may share submitted data with the third-party tools we use to operate this site and deliver services, strictly to provide the service you requested. These fall into the following categories:

• Scheduling (e.g. Calendly or Cal.com), to book and manage strategy calls
• Email and SMS delivery, to send audits, reports, and campaign communications
• Live chat, to respond to on-site questions
• Analytics (e.g. Plausible or GA4), to understand aggregate site usage
• Automation/CRM backend (e.g. Make.com or n8n), to route form submissions internally

We don’t sell submitted data, and we don’t share it beyond what’s needed to run the above.

Our analytics provider may use cookies or similar technology to count visits and understand which pages are useful. This data is aggregated and isn’t used to personally identify you. You can opt out by using your browser’s cookie or tracking-protection settings, or a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.

We keep submitted data for as long as needed to respond to your request or provide our services, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing hello@hoignis.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as the site and our services change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
