Chapter 01
The Problem
House of Ignis started with a simple frustration:
too many genuinely good books were launching into silence —
no ranking, no reviews, no readers finding them —
while the books beating them weren't necessarily better, just better positioned.
We built House of Ignis to close that gap.
Not with gimmicks or guarantees we can't keep,
but with the unglamorous groundwork — category research, keyword strategy, and real reader outreach —
that actually moves a book up the list.
The name is literal: ignis is fire.
Our job is to supply the spark; the book does the rest.
Every fire starts as a single ember someone refused to let die.
Chapter 02
The Method
Not a mission statement. The actual house rules — the ones every campaign is built against.
We turn down books we can't help
If a genre or category isn't realistic for a badge, we say so in the free audit instead of taking the retainer anyway.
Category research before anything else
Most agencies sell reviews first. We start with the category and keyword research that decides whether reviews even matter.
Full reporting, not vibes
Every campaign ships with before/after ranking data, not just a screenshot of a badge.
Ethics as a hard line, not a suggestion
No bought reviews, no bots, no manipulated purchases. This isn't a marketing line — it's how the work gets done.
We don't rush research to hit an artificial deadline
Rushing category research to fit a launch date someone else picked is how badges get missed. We say so up front.
If it wouldn't survive us explaining it to your face, we don't do it
Every tactic we use is one we'd happily walk you through, step by step, before we run it.
A spark doesn't ask permission to become a flame.
Chapter 03

Today
412+ Books, 275+ Authors
Still turning down the books we can't help, and still reporting the ones we can.
Some books just need someone to strike the match.
Chapter 04
Meet the Sparks
Lean, and hands-on with every book.
The difference between a spark and ash is whether someone tends it.
Chapter 05
Behind the Curtain
Most agencies keep this part a black box. Here’s what you’d actually see mid-campaign.
The Ember Ledger
Live campaign report — Day 6 of 8
Overall rank, launch week
Verified reviews
34 of 40 target
This is what you’ll actually see during your campaign — not a black box.
Ignis is proof that small things can still start something enormous.
Chapter 06
A Letter From the Founder
To every author who's ever hit publish and heard nothing back —
I started House of Ignis because I kept watching genuinely good books launch into total silence. Not because they were worse than the books beating them. Because nobody had done the unglamorous work of getting them found.
I don't think a bestseller badge should depend on luck, or on knowing the right person, or on a marketing budget bigger than the book's advance. I think it should depend on doing the research properly, being honest about what's realistic, and then doing the work.
That's still the whole business plan.
— Samuel
Chapter 07
The Line We Won't Cross
We do not buy reviews. We do not use bots. We do not manipulate rankings through fake purchases. Every one of those things violates Amazon's Community Guidelines, and every one of them puts an author's account and livelihood at real risk — for our short-term convenience, not their long-term benefit.
Everything we do instead — reader outreach, category and keyword research, coordinated launch timing — is designed to survive being explained to you plainly, in daylight, without a caveat.
If a tactic only works because nobody asks how it works, we don't use it. Full stop.
